notes:

 Although this piece was purchased at the Coushatta gift shop, it has not yet been confirmed that Nancy Concho is of the Coushatta tribes.   However, the chief of the Coushatta at the time did have the last name of Concho.

A phone number used to contact her from the shop had the same area code and prefix as the North Carolina Cherokee, but it was not determined if Nancy was a Cherokee or a Coushatti living in the Cherokee area.  And the bowl does have the qualities of a traditional Cherokee.  However, the chief of the Coushatta at the time did have the last name of Concho...
